Tarkett Executive Committee
The Executive Committee is the Group’s steering body, led by the CEO. It includes the operational and functional leaders of Tarkett:
- EMEA, Eastern Europe, North America, Sports Divisions and the Latin America & Asia-Pacific Areas,
- Finance, Human Resources, Operations, Research Innovation & Environment, and Legal.

Michel Giannuzzi – Chief Executive Officer
Born in 1964, Michel was appointed Tarkett Chief Executive Officer in September 2007. He has spent his entire career in various industries – beginning in 1989 with Michelin. From his initial diverse industrial responsibilities in France and the UK, he went on to manage a production unit specialized in revolutionary tires before taking on the responsibility of re-engineering the Supply Chain in Europe prior to becoming CEO of Michelin Japan. In 2001, he joined the Valeo Group as Vice President, successively in charge of the global Electrical Systems (2001) and Wiper Systems (2003) business. Michel is a graduate of Ecole Polytechnique and Harvard Business School.

Jeff Buttitta - President Tarkett North America
Jeff Buttitta, born in 1947, was CEO of Johnsonite Inc. for 15 years prior to its acquisition by Tarkett in 2005. He was appointed President of Tarkett North America mid 2007. Jeff has a wide professional management experience across finance, sales, marketing, manufacturing, human resources and field installation services during his career. Prior to joining Johnsonite he was Vice President of Operations for the high end manufacturer of commercial contract furniture Hauserman Inc. Jeff has a degree in business and accounting from Baldwin Wallace College, USA.

Eric Daliere – President Tarkett Sports
Eric Daliere, born in 1967, was appointed President of the Tarkett Sports Division in October 2009. Eric has an extensive background in project management and operational improvement, having spent the past 10 years with KKR Capstone running complex business projects and taking interim leadership roles. An MBA graduate from J.L. Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, Eric previously worked for the Boston Consulting Group and the AmeriCares Foundation.

Slavoljub Martinovic – President Tarkett Eastern Europe
Slavoljub Martinovic, born in 1970, has spent most of his career in the flooring industry. He joined the Serbian Sintelon Flooring Company in 1996 where he has successively held several positions as process engineer, production manager and plant manager. Following the acquisition of Sintelon by the Tarkett Group in 2002, Slavoljub became general manager of Tarkett DOO in Serbia and has moved to the position of Technical Director of Tarkett Eastern Europe in 2005. The past four years Slavoljub has occupied the General Manager position at the Tarkett-Sommer production site in Mytichtchi near Moscow, Russia. Slavoljub holds a degree in food preservation technologies of the Technological Faculty of Novi Sad, Serbia.

Remco Teulings - President Tarkett EMEA
Remco Teulings, born in 1970, has worked in various international roles across different industries throughout his career. In the last 6 years, Remco worked for Knauf Insulation where he started early 2007 in the role as Group Marketing Director. As of 2009, he ran as CEO and Managing Director the region Central Europe and headed as well three Global or European divisions. Before this, Remco worked for Ansell Healthcare where he held several management positions amongst other Marketing Director EMEA and General Manager UK & Eire for the Consumer Division. Earlier in his career, he held various positions in sales, marketing and purchasing in both business-to-business and business-to-consumer markets. Remco holds a Master’s Degree in Sociology from the University of Amsterdam, a Bachelor Degree in Economics and an Executive MBA from the Asian Institute of Technology.

Fabrice Barthélemy – Chief Financial Officer
Born in 1968, Fabrice joined Tarkett as Chief Financial Officer in January 2008. He started his career in 1991 as an industrial controller with Snecma Engines. He joined the Valeo Group in 1995 and moved to the UK where he was financial controller of a factory and subsequently a Division. Between 2001 and 2003 he was financial controller of the Lighting Division at Angers France and then became Financial Director of Valeo Connective Systems. From 2005 to 2007 he held the post of financial director of Valeo Wiper Systems. Fabrice is a graduate of ESCP (Paris).

Vincent Lecerf – EVP Group Human Resources
Born in 1964, Vincent joined Tarkett EVP Human Resources in January 2008. Vincent has spent his professional career in human resource management in industrial companies such as Rhodia and Valeo. Before joining Tarkett, he was HR Director for the logistics and transport group Norbert Dentressangle. Vincent is a graduate of EDHEC and has a post graduate diploma in organizational sociology.

Anne-Christine Ayed – EVP Research, Innovation and Environment
Born in 1961, Anne-Christine joined Tarkett in September 2009 as Group Research & Innovation Vice President. She spent all of her career in the field of Innovation and R&D. She spent 15 years with Dow Chemical where she held several R&D and business development leadership positions in Switzerland, Germany and the USA. In 2004, she joined DBApparel, in Paris, a global branded apparel company where she was Research and Innovation Director and member of the group executive committee. She is a plastics engineer and holds a Ph. D in Macromolecular Physical Chemistry.

Antoine Prévost – EVP Operations
Born in 1970, Antoine has held various management positions within Vallourec, where he spent the last 16 years. His latest position was Supply Chain Director of OCTG, the Oil & Gas Division of Vallourec. In this position he was responsible for 9 production plants, Sales & Operations, Supply Chain, Inventories, Logistics and On-Time delivery. In his current functions at Tarkett, Antoine Prevost oversees the following Group activities: Manufacturing, Quality and Supply Chain, Health & Safety, Purchasing. Antoine Prevost is a graduate of Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Mines de Paris.

Stéphanie Couture – Group General Counsel
Born in 1969, Stéphanie Couture started her career practicing law in Canada before administrative and civil courts and also as in house legal counsel at Unibroue, a publicly traded micro brewery, to become the Director of Legal Services and Communications. Stéphanie joined Tarkett in 2000 holding the position of Legal Counsel and then Director of Legal Services for Tarkett North America (2000-2006). She moved to Tarkett’s Corporate headquarters in 2006 to become the Director of Legal Services and later General Counsel. Stéphanie holds a law degree from Montreal University and is a member of the Quebec Bar since 1993. She is also member of the Board of Directors of the AFJE (French corporate counsel association).
Strong support and commitment of our shareholders
Since January 2007, Tarkett SA has been owned through a holding company by the Deconinck family (50%) and funds affiliated with “Kohlberg Kravis and Roberts” (KKR) (50%). The Group enjoys a stable financial base and shareholders who support its profitable growth strategy.
Supervisory Board
The Supervisory Board (“Conseil de Surveillance”) is composed of seven members: three members of the Deconinck family, three representatives of KKR and one independent member. It is presided by Didier Deconinck; its vice-president is Jacques Garaialde for KKR. The board members meet once a month to review with the management the group’s financial performance as well as operational and strategic initiatives. In line with standard governance practices, the Supervisory Board also has three dedicated Committees: the Audit Committee, chaired by Sonia Bonnet-Bernard, independent member of the Board, the Strategy and Marketing Committee, chaired by Eric Deconinck and the Selection and Remuneration Committee chaired by Jacques Garaialde (KKR).
